How do we get started?
Schedule a 60-90 minute Initial Design Consultation: You can get the most for your money by being prepared with a list of what you are trying to achieve and how involved you want to be in the process before we meet.
What to expect during the initial consultation: Explain your lifestyle, where you want the project area to begin, give a tour of your home, tell me your budgetary requirements, furnishings you wish to keep or replace, etc. I also will take measurements and photographs.
Establish a Plan: This part is always customized to meet your needs and starts with the budget you choose.
Flat Rate Method: I will present you with a proposal outlining my understanding of your project requirements including your budget, my estimated fees, and estimated prices for your “wish list” items.
Hourly Rate Method: We start by rearranging furniture, pictures and accessories in order to make an existing room work better. Then we grow in scope from there depending on your desired outcome.
Let's Get to Work: Regardless of the budget plan you choose I always like to start working with what you have and love! We may shuffle things from room to room to make them function better.
Behind the Scenes: If you decide you want to order your own home goods that is fine! We work together as a team to accomplish your goals. But I can make things easier for you and manage the "behind the scenes" ordering, follow-up phone calls and delivery details so you can concentrate on your daily life. When craftsmen, installers and delivery personnel arrive at your home I am always on site with them to ensure all the details are handled to your satisfaction
